2018 The 1st China Sanya International Piano Music Week & The Development Forum of Chinese Piano Music Composition & The Chinese Piano Works Show Global Press Conference

On December 9^th, The Global Press Conference of 2018 The 1st China Sanya International Piano Music Week & The Development Forum of Chinese Piano Music Composition & The Chinese Piano Works Show was held at the Sanya Library. The Opening Concert will be held on February 3^rd, 2018 when domestic and foreign world-class pianists will provide a piano music feast for citizens and tourists.

During the activity, famous pianists will play some popular piano works, such as He Lvting’s Cowhand Piccolo, Deng Erjing’s Sequence Number, Zhou Long’s Wu Kui, Chu Wanghua’s Moon Reflected in the Second Spring and Xinjiang Caprice, etc.

The Artistic Consultants of 2018 The 1^st China Sanya International Piano Music Week includes member of the Standing Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC), vice-president of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles(CFLAC), chief of Chinese Musicians’ Association, director of Education Committee of Chinese Musician’ Association, Mr. Ye Xiaogang; the First Chinese Pianist to win an international award, lifetime professor of Central Conservatory of Music, one of the most outstanding women of 20th century in China, known as“the Soul of Chinese Piano Education”, Ms. Zhou Guangren; and internationally famous pianist and educator, Ms. Zhu Yafen. The Artistic Director is the head of Piano Department of Central Conservatory of Music, professor, PhD tutor, the chairman of Piano Society of Chinese Musician’s Association, Steinway Artist, Mr. Wu Ying.

The music week will last from February 3^rd to 8^th,during which 5 summit forums, 9 special lectures on Chinese piano works, 7 concerts, 16 master classes, 1 show on 100 Years of Chinese Piano Music Composition, Chinese Piano Works Show and Piano Graffiti Street Art Activity.

Another highlight is that the music week will make a classic documentary of above activities and publish a book named Chinese Piano Works Development Report. After the music week, a “Chinese Piano Works Concert” will be toured in the countries along “One Belt One Road”. The activities aim to demonstrate Chinese music works, disseminate Chinese voice, tell Chinese stories and share the cultural charm of Chinese piano works with piano music lovers around the world.

On the press conference, the associate professor of Piano Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Steinway Artist, executive committee director of 2018 The 1st China Sanya International Piano Music Week, Mr. Xian Jinsong performed the First Movement of Beethoven’s Waldstein Sonatas. American Chinese young pianists Ms. He Chenfang and Ms. Tang Hong performed the Piano Duet of Joyous Women Soldiers and Hungarian Rhapsody No.2.

The music week is host by Sanya Municipal People’s Government, undertook by  Sanya Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Publishing and Sport, co-organized by Sanya Municipal Culture and Sports Devlopment Center and Sanya Music Communication Association, and supported by 15 professional conservatories and organizations such as Central Conservatory of Music, Chinese Conservatory of Music,etc.
